For the FIRST TIME EVER – we are hosting 2 evening events!
We are SO VERY EXCITED to welcome Celtic folk band RAPALJE to the UK – on the Friday they will perform a more gentle folky set, and a more up -beat performance on the Saturday, so you’ll get two flavours of this very special band!
FRIDAY NIGHT – 25th October:
‘Goblin Market’ & RAPALJE Debut UK performance!
Christina Rossetti’s pre-raphaelite Masterpiece ‘Goblin Market’ performed by Elizabeth-Jane Baldry & Maxine Fone.
‘Goblin Market’ is a performance for spoken voice and golden harp of Christina Rossetti’s celebrated and disturbing narrative poem – a unique combination in British literature of the grotesque, the fairytale, the erotic and the moral. A night of faery culture.
PLUS Holland’s RAPALJE will perform some Celtic folk songs in the UK for the first time!
PLEASE NOTE: This event takes place at GLASTONBURY ASSEMBLY ROOMS on Friday 25th October at 8pm until midnight, and tickets cost £15.

SATURDAY NIGHT – 26th October: Samhain Avalon Faery Ball featuring The Dolmen & RAPALJE (Ra-pa-li-ay).
An enchanting evening with ‘Faery Royalty’ as the dress theme. With Celtic folk/rock music with The Dolmen, and for the first time in the UK, RAPALJE! Plus other happenings during the evening’s fun! The Avalon Faery Ball takes place on Saturday 26th October at Glastonbury Town Hall and the theme will be Faery Royalty, and as always anything goes! Just express yourself in a creative fae way ♥ Faery Ball tickets are £25. Doors open: Satyrday at 8pm till midnight.
