Hi everyone! The fairies have been keeping us super busy here this summer. Next month (September) will be the debut Avebury Fairy Weekend and there’s much excitement in fairyland about this magical new event!
The fairy weekend is being held in association with The Henge Shop based within the stones. It’s free to come along and there will be some enchanting undercover stalls in the Henge Shop Fairy Gardens. There will also be free activities on both days Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd September, including a magical unicorn, faerie drumming, story-telling and more.
In addition to the above, there will also be some amazing talks and workshops, held upstairs in the Henge Shop Workshop room. The workshops and talks are priced individually and can be booked in advance. Here are details of just two of the special workshops below, watch this space for more coming very soon!
Faerie & Dark Crystal Talk and Q&A
with Brian and Wendy Froud
12 noon until 1.30pm cost £15 BOOK HERE
The Dark Crystal Age of Resistance is the eagerly anticipated sequel to The Dark Crystal movie. The entire Froud family worked together on this exciting new series created exclusively for Netflix, and Brian and Wendy wil be sharing some insights about their work as a family in this talk. Please note there will not be any spoilers. The pair will also talk about there journey with faerie and some of the wonderful things they have experienced along the way.
PRACTICAL INFORMATION: A day parking pass can be reserved for workshop and fairy weekend attendees for £7. Car sharing is encouraged.
While you are in Avebury you can enjoy the Fairy Weekend free stalls (on Sat 21st and Sun 22nd) and other fairy fun and workshops taking place during the weekend.

Let’s literally light up the town of Glastonbury this October! We are already imagining how beautiful everyone will look while we are all shining brightly together as one big happy fae family! Music is from The Dolmen with more special guests to be announced! There will be a fairy bar and photo-booth at the Ball too!
During the daytime special guests include Jasmine Becket-Griffith, Anne Sudworth, Armorel Hamilton and more. Plus I will be launching my NEW Oracle of the Fairies deck and Guidebook with a special workshop, plus signings on the FAE magazine stall on Saturday 19th and Sunday 2oth October.
