Froudian Faerie Friday!
We are honoured to welcome special guests Brian and Wendy Froud to the festival on our first themed day, Froudian Faerie Friday on 21st August, as part of our wider celebration of creativity, folklore, and imagination. Fondly known within our community as our Faerie Godmother and Godfather, Wendy and Brian Froud are renowned artists and designers whose visionary work has helped shape some of the most cherished fantasy worlds in film, television, and illustration.
To celebrate Froudian Faerie Friday we are hosting a
Magical Masquerade Ball
Step into a world of enchantment at our Froudian Faerie Friday Magical Masquerade Ball — a celebration of fantasy, romance, and theatrical beauty reminiscent of the ethereal 1980s worlds that captured a generation’s imagination. Expect music, masks, plus a few surprises as you are transported into a dreamlike atmosphere inspired by the decadent elegance of legendary cinematic settings, reimagined in our own 3 Wishes Fairy Festival style.

The Magical Masquerade Faerie Ball is an independent festival event, created in our own unique style as a loving unofficial homage and respectful nod to the fantasy films that continue to inspire our global fae community. This event is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to any film studio or rights holder.
