‘Arthurian Armour Exhibition featuring Master Armourer Terry English’

At the Assembly Rooms – Glastonbury high street on October 25th & 26th 2014.

Part of the Avalon Faery Weekend, we have two venues! In the Assembly Rooms we have an Arthurian themed ART & ARMOUR exhibition in the heart of Avalon featuring Terry English, Chris Achilleos, Peter Pracownik & Nicola-Clare Lydon.
This event is free entry and takes place at Glastonbury Assembly Rooms. Terry English will also be exhibiting in the Town Hall at the Avalon Faery Fayre – so this year we are taking over two venues in the beautiful town of Glastonbury.

Terry English has been creating armour for over 5 decades. He has worked on many films including: Excalibar, Aliens, First Knight, King Arthur, creating armour for Actors like Sean Connery, Liam Neesen, Clive Owen, Helen Mirren, and many others. Recent productions include- ‘Clash of the Titans’ – ‘Robin Hood’- ‘Sucker Punch’ and ‘Top Gear’. He says – “It’s all about creating the magic.”
